Hannam University LINC3.0 Organization Signed a Cooperative Agreement with the Renowned Public University of Sabah, Malaysia

Hannam University's LINC3.0 Organization and UMS (Universiti Malaysia Sabah), a renowned national university in East Malaysia, have joined hands for global academic-industrial cooperation.
Last month, on the 27th at 10 a.m., the UMS delegation, who visited Hannam University's Makerspace and Daeduk Valley Campus, held an agreement ceremony with Won Gukhwan, the head of the LINC3.0 organization, and discussed cooperative technology research and development as well as student and faculty exchanges.
Through this agreement, both universities will expand: ▲Support for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through business guidance, technology transfer, technical advice, and provision of the latest technology for companies related to academic-industrial cooperation, ▲Participation in and knowledge sharing of various forms of exchanges (such as seminars, conferences, guest speakers, workshops) in the fields of education, research, and administration, and ▲Increased participation of students and faculty in exchange programs (such as student transfers, summer camps, guest lectures).
At the UMS delegation's welcoming event, Professor Lee Je Myung from Hannam University introduced the academic-industrial linked human resources development program and proposed a global academic-industrial cooperation proposal, while Song Sang Seon, the representative of Hannam Bio, proposed cooperation plans for the development of Malaysian aquaculture. The UMS officials visited Hannam Bio and its family company Bioneer directly for a Daeduk Valley Campus tour and experienced practical academic-industrial cooperation activities.
Won Gukhwan, the head of Hannam University's LINC 3.0 project, said, "Through the agreement between Sabah University, which is building the optimal infrastructure for international academic-industrial cooperation, and Hannam University, a variety of projects such as exchange of global human resource development programs between both universities, exchange of support for related companies, joint research, and mutual development are expected to be launched." He added, "We have high expectations for the various initiatives that will be undertaken by Hannam University, one of the best private universities in central Korea, and Sabah University, a renowned public university in the Sabah region of Malaysia."
