Hannam University, led by President Lee Kwang-Sup, announced on the 22nd that they hosted the 7th Annual U.S. Sister University Conference in Asheville, North Carolina on the 19th (local time).
According to Hannam University, the event was attended by President Lee Kwang-Sup, the presidents of seven sister universities in the United States, and a total of 26 international affairs officials. They discussed ways to enhance international cooperation in the post-COVID era and laid the groundwork for expanding personnel exchanges.
Since 2011, Hannam University has been hosting the Annual U.S. Sister University Conference every year to strengthen cooperation with sister universities in the southeastern United States. From 2014, the conference has been held every two years. By resuming the annual conference, which had been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is expected to contribute to the establishment of a foundation for internationalization and the activation of personnel exchanges in the future.
